Rajasthan Tourism Department is embarking on a transformative journey to enhance its tourism landscape. With a substantial investment, they are identifying and renovating tourist spots in each district, aiming to boost economic growth and provide unique experiences to visitors.

Rajasthan Tourism Department has launched a new initiative to identify and develop new tourist destinations in every district of the state. The initiative will involve restoration and conservation of two different tourist spots in each district. These projects are underway and are funded by the Tourism Development Fund. The main goal of these projects is to distribute the economic benefits of tourism across Rajasthan.

Gayatri Rathod, Principal Secretary of the Tourism Department, said that this initiative is in line with the 22-23 Budget Announcement. "We are happy to inform that two unique tourist destinations have been selected for development in each district. This visionary plan not only aims to improve existing tourist spots but also envisions the creation of entirely new attractions for visitors," Rathod said.

The Tourism Department of Rajasthan is undertaking various development and renovation works in several districts, such as Alwar, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bundi, Bharatpur, Banswara, Dausa, Dungarpur, Jodhpur, Jhalawar, Jalore, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Nagaur, Sirohi, Bikaner, Chittorgarh, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Kota, and Pratapgarh. The total investment for these projects is INR 70.06 crore.

Dr. Rashmi Sharma, the Director of the Tourism Department, said that the aim of these projects is to boost the tourism sector of the state and to create opportunities for the businesses and communities involved in tourism. "We are working hard to enhance the tourism potential of Rajasthan and to offer a rich and varied experience to the visitors in every district," she said.

She also mentioned that the Tourism Department is working in collaboration with different government departments, such as the Forest Department, Archaeology Department, and Public Works Department, as well as municipal bodies, to ensure the smooth execution of these projects. "The fast progress of these works shows their dedication to revive the tourism industry of Rajasthan and to provide a wide spectrum of experiences to the travellers from near and far," she said.
