VFS Global will provide biometric services for visa applicants

VFS Global will operate 165 Australian biometric collection centres (ABCC) across the world, as per a new agreement. The contract covers seven regions, including new and existing locations: the Americas, Mekong, Middle East and North Africa, North Asia, Pacific, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. This is the first time VFS Global will open ABCC in the Americas region.

VFS Global, the world's leading provider of outsourcing and technology services for governments and diplomatic missions, has secured a major contract from the Department of Home Affairs in Australia to deliver biometric collection services across the globe.

The contract covers 165 Australian biometric collection centres (ABCC) in seven regions: the Americas, Mekong, Middle East and North Africa, North Asia, Pacific, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. Some of these centres are new, while others are already operated by VFS Global. The contract reflects the trust and confidence that the Australian government has in VFS Global's capabilities and expertise in biometric collection.

As part of this agreement, VFS Global will also launch the first Australian biometric collection centers (ABCC) in the Americas region.

Furthermore, VFS Global has recently renewed its global visa contract for Sweden. Applicants from India can submit their Sweden visa applications at eight VFS Global visa application centers (VACs) located in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Pune.
