SECR senior divisional commercial manager (SrDCM) Dilip Singh said automatic signaling will improve efficiency and smooth movement of trains. “The signaling process has transitioned from manual to automatic, leading to increased safety and reduced possibility of human error,” he said. The project includes the 259km stretch between Nagpur and Durg, which is one of the most crucial segments of the railway network. The 460km stretch comprises Bilha-Jairamnagar (30km), Kalamna-Durg (259km), Bilaspur-Ghutku (16km), and Champa-Urga (28km).
