The project includes the 259km stretch between Nagpur and Durg, which is one of the most crucial segments of the railway network. The 460km stretch comprises Bilha-Jairamnagar (30km), Kalamna-Durg (259km), Bilaspur-Ghutku (16km), and Champa-Urga (28km).
